Happy April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day!

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk: “Children are the future of our nation and a source of joy and merriness. It is our duty to raise children with the awareness that today’s children are the future’s adults.”

The founder of the Republic of Turkey under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk opened Turkey Grand National Assembly on April 23, 1920 (Parliament) 1st year as a gift to the children April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day.  The Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk declared April 23 as children’s holiday.  He thought children are the future of a nation. His dedication of April 23 to children symbolizes his unshakable trust and love for them. Therefore, the new generations who are the guardians of the republic should be made aware of the significance April 23 holds for the nation.

We celebrate the 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day of our children who represent our future and wish a healthy happy future for our children who we entrust our future.
